We’re Uniting Our Social Media: A Message from GLOBIO
Over the past two decades, GLOBIO has grown and evolved in many ways. What began as a broad environmental education initiative has, in recent years, sharpened its focus – honing in on the power of media to protect great apes and their habitats.
From our Apes Like Us video series to Talking Apes podcast, to the powerful storytelling we create for conservation nonprofits worldwide, it’s all part of the same mission.
That’s why we’re uniting all our social media platforms under one banner: GLOBIO.
What does this mean?
- You’ll only need to follow one account to get all our best content
- No more confusion about whether ALU, TAP or the Great Ape Conservation Film Project are separate organizations
- Easier ways to support our work through donations and campaigns
- A stronger, more focused voice for great apes and conservation storytelling
We’ll be retiring some of our older accounts (like @TalkingApes_Podcast on X and the old GLOBIO Facebook page) and resharing some of your favorite past content on our main feed over the coming weeks.
Don’t forget to follow us on @globioapes – the one place for all things GLOBIO – on Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn!
Thank you for helping us evolve and grow. We’re excited for this next chapter and hope you’ll be part of it.
