Ape Action Africa‘s annual “Buy a Gorilla a Dinner” campaign is back, and this year, GLOBIO is proud to support this vital initiative. Every summer, Ape Action Africa highlights the incredible lives of their rescued gorillas and shares their stories, giving us all a glimpse into their world. This year, they’re focusing on Chickaboo’s family group, showcasing the unique relationships and daily lives of eight western lowland gorillas.

Why Your Donation Matters

For the gorillas under Ape Action Africa’s care, sanctuary means safety, health, and family. But it also means a lot of mouths to feed—25 gorillas, to be exact. Feeding one gorilla costs $6.50 / £5 per day, and with your help, we can ensure these magnificent creatures receive the nutrition they need.

By donating, you’re not just providing a meal; you’re contributing to the lifelong sanctuary and well-being of these gorillas. Ape Action Africa cares for 287 rescued orphans, including 25 critically endangered gorillas, 118 endangered chimpanzees, and 144 monkeys. Your support helps provide them with nutritious food, expert medical care, and a safe, loving environment.
