Led by the passionate team at GLOBIO in collaboration with our incredible partner Ape Action Africa, GACFP is a film-based conservation project that puts Cameroonian locals front and centre. Its goal is to bring about tangible change by engaging local communities and fostering a deep sense of responsibility towards primate conservation.
As we prepare to embark on this adventure, we are filled with anticipation and excitement. Our journey begins with the crucial research phase, where we will delve into the local perspectives on great apes through comprehensive questionnaires. These invaluable insights will shape our future initiatives, ensuring they resonate deeply with the communities we aim to empower.
